DSM Nederland B.V. Forms Joint Venture with North China Pharmaceutical

June 25, 2007 -- DSM, a large Dutch chemical and nutrition company, will carve out the anti-infectives part of its pharma business, putting them into a joint venture with North China Pharmaceutical Corporation. The move may be a precursor to a divestiture of the business in the future, though the immediate goal is to find additional business partners for the unit.
