Dr. Robert V. House Appointed President Of Computer Sciences Corporation's DVC LLC Vaccine Business

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation today announced that Robert V. House, Ph.D., has been appointed president of DVC LLC, a CSC company. Since 2005, House has served as chief scientific officer of DVC, and continues to serve in that capacity.

"Dr. House's experience and broad scientific knowledge make him an ideal candidate to lead DVC," said Jose Jimenez, president of CSC's Enforcement, Security and Intelligence division. "DVC has grown its biological and chemical defense programs. Dr. House's background in biodefense and infectious diseases will help DVC continue to grow under his leadership."

House joined DVC in 2002 following a career of more than 20 years in biopharmaceutical research and testing. He holds a Ph.D. in medical parasitology from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health, and is the author, co-author or editor of more than 100 journal articles and book chapters in the areas of immunotoxicology, host defense, cytokine biology and biodefense.
