(NYSE: WX), a leading open-access R&D capability and technology platform company serving the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, announced today that Dr. Peter Schultz visited WuXi AppTec's Shanghai headquarters on October 17 and gave an inspiring public lecture.  Dr. Schultz is the CEO of The Scripps Research Institute and the founder and Director of the California Institute for Biomedical Research.  He is also a member of the National Academy of Sciences in the United States and of its Institute of Medicine.
