MADISON, Wisconsin-April 30, 2009 – DNASTAR, Inc. today released its latest version of visualization software, GenVision v2.0, with expanded capabilities for creating publication-quality images depicting large quantities of genomic information. The desktop software is designed to work with the company’s Lasergene software to permit easy flow of larger data sets and to make real-time visual and data edits. The software is compatible with Windows XP® and Windows Vista™ systems and Mac® OS X 10.4 and 10.5.

Currently, the Company produces Lasergene, a sequence analysis software suite; SeqMan NGen for the assembly of large quantities of data generated from Next Generation Sequencing technologies, ArrayStar, a gene expression analysis and visualization software package which permits RNA-Seq and DGE applications to be performed and GenVision.
