DIA Names Jonathan Commons Senior Vice President Of Marketing

Horsham, Pa. (April 18, 2016) – DIA recently announced that Jonathan Commons has been named senior vice president of marketing. He will lead the global marketing and business development teams for DIA.

Prior to joining DIA, Commons worked for more than a decade in the Pharmaceutical industry. He most recently served in global roles as the Senior Director of Digital and Patient Engagement at Chimerix and Vice President of Investigator Education and Patient Engagement at Quintiles. At GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) he worked on the commercialization of pharmaceutical products across a range of therapeutic areas including Oncology, Cardiovascular, Infectious Disease, Rare Disease, Acute Care and Pain, and was responsible for developing Patient and Healthcare Provider strategies and engaging consumer experiences.

DIA’s largest global interdisciplinary event, DIA 2016, will take place this summer in Philadelphia from June 26-30, 2016.

Commons earned his undergraduate degree in New Zealand at Massey University and his MBA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
