Recent research indicates that the Middle East cleaning and hygiene industry will be worth AED 300 billion. In the light of such impressive industry figures, it is an opportune time and platform for Dhofar Global to launch its new range of chemical products.

The debuting chemical product line is aimed at food and beverage as well as housekeeping departments of the Middle East’s hospitality industry. The product range for the housekeeping department consist of glass cleaner, multi-purpose cleaner, toilet cleaner, disinfectant cleaner and room deodorants in the first phase. Laundry products, on the other hand, encompass detergents for colored and fine textile, special additives, and stain solvents. The cleaning product range features general and sanitary cleaners. General cleaning includes surface, glass, and carpet and upholstery cleaners while sanitation products comprise basic cleaners, water closet cleaners, and room deodorants. Lastly, the floor care range consists of coating, wiping and maintenance products and liquid soaps for the hygiene segment.

Singh said: “The Middle East’s cleaning and hygiene industry is witnessing unprecedented growth fueled by greater awareness among the community about cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene along with the economic boom and a growing population. Development of mega projects due to the expansion of hospitality, education and healthcare sectors has driven the industry within the UAE which is becoming more relevant as Expo 2020 draws closer. We have launched our new range of chemical products particularly for the hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants and shopping malls and are on the lookout for state-of-the-art cleaning and hygiene products following an intensive industry survey. We are confident that our new chemical range will offer the best solution in cleaning and janitorial products and provide the best experience to our customers.”

According to a survey of the UAE’s major hospitality players conducted by Dhofar Global, 100 per cent of participants buy chemical products particularly for their F&B and housekeeping segments from suppliers but nearly 52 per cent do not hold regional contracts. In addition, almost 22 per cent are on the lookout for new suppliers. Therefore, the company has introduced a new product range in the phase-launch for the housekeeping segment along with the Facilities Management sector in response to the findings of the survey.

In line with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Middle East Cleaning Technology Week (MECTW) is a positive step towards a sustainable future. It will feature Clean Middle East Pulire, Gulf Laundrex, and Gulf Carwash along with the International Cleaning and Hygiene Conference and Excellence Awards. Dhofar Global is the Washroom Hygiene Partner for MECTW.
