Devicor Medical Products Gets Even Bigger With Fourth Acquisition

The Sharonville-based firm, which focuses on minimally invasive devices that help doctors diagnose and treat breast cancer, has acquired from Biopsy Sciences the rights to technology that can mark the site of a biopsy so it can be easily spotted again if surgery is required. Tom Daulton, CEO of Devicor, declined to disclose how much his company paid Florida-based Biopsy Sciences for the rights to the HydroMark portfolio and related assets. “It was substantial,” he said.
