"This distribution agreement complements our earlier agreement with Fresenius Kabi in Europe and Asia Pacific, and other agreements in Central and South America, for the IVantage infusion pump -- now totaling more than $100 million in bookings," said Christophe Sevrain, managing director of Delphi Medical Systems. "We are very pleased to work with Alliance's top-notch distribution team."

Delphi's IVantage will bear both the Delphi Medical Systems logo and the Alliance Medical logo. Miniature and accurate, the dual battery-operated and AC-powered portable pump is lightweight and small enough to be hand-held, making it ideal for use at home or at alternate sites.

The pump is designed so it can be easily clipped onto various accessories, such as IV poles and wheelchairs. It includes a shoulder strap and belt-clip for increased mobility and could play an important role in hospitals, where it could be utilized for mobile in-patient care.

"Distributing Delphi's IVantage fits nicely into our distribution portfolio and is very timely given the situation in this market," said Chief Operating Officer Garrett Brown, Alliance Medical, Inc. "IVantage is the most versatile ambulatory pump on the market today. With the cost advantage, ease of use and safety at the base of the technology, we know as a distributor that we will see great and rapid market penetration with this product. We, at Alliance Medical, Inc. are dedicated to providing our customers with the best medical devices to serve patient needs." Delphi Medical Systems also manufactures respiratory care devices, dialysis machines, vision-testing equipment, vital signs monitoring devices, in-vitro diagnostics, and other medical devices. Delphi Medical Systems focuses on supplying OEMs and distributors the latest product technology as well as integrated solutions in medical devices.

"The distribution agreement with Alliance Medical means our IVantage infusion pump will now be distributed throughout most of the world, underlining our global reach," explained Sevrain.
