deCODE chemistry Expands Process Chemistry Relationship with Anacor Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

deCODE chemistry announced that it has expanded its long-term relationship with Anacor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (www.anacor.com). Under the terms of the newest agreement, deCODE chemistry is providing a team of researchers to perform process chemistry research in support of Anacor’s pre-clinical development pipeline. The research activities provided under this agreement include process route selection and optimization, production of API for pre-clinical and early-phase clinical studies, and development and validation of analytical methods. The research team at deCODE comes in addition to other recent agreements between deCODE chemistry and Anacor regarding cGMP production of API for Anacor’s product development programs.
