Cynosure, Inc. Inks $10 Million Settlement With Tria Beauty

Cynosure settles its patent infringement lawsuits against Tria Beauty, agreeing to accept $10 million plus royalties to put the case to bed. Cynosure (NSDQ:CYNO) said it agreed to put to bed 2 patent infringement lawsuits against Tria Beauty that it inherited when it acquired Palomar Medical Technologies earlier this year. The settlement calls for Tria to pony up $10 million and pay royalties on future sales of its hair removal products, according to a press release.
