Cortland Welcomes New Medical Research And Development Expert

Global medical textile and biomaterials supplier Cortland Company has appointed Jeffrey Koslosky as its Medical Business Development Leader as it targets further growth. Koslosky has more than 15 years of experience in the design, development and manufacture of biomedical textile products and medical devices.

Prior to joining Cortland, Koslosky was the Principal of Woodlea Consulting, LLC, a firm he founded to assist clients in the development of corporate strategies and technology portfolios in the medical device and implantable fabric markets. Other previous assignments include J-Pac Medical, LLC and Secant Medical, Inc. where he held a variety of senior management positions in the business development, engineering, research and development, and marketing groups.

Koslosky has published numerous articles on biomedical textile product design and is a frequent speaker at medical device industry conferences across the globe. He has an undergraduate degree in textile engineering with a concentration in biomaterials from Philadelphia University, and a MBA from Villanova University.
