CliniCloud Raises $5 Million From China's Tencent And Ping An

CliniCloud, a US-Australia consumer digital health company, raised $5 million from Tencent, a China internet and mobile phone services company, and Ping An Ventures, the VC arm of the large China insurance company. Founded by two physicians, CliniCloud has developed an innovative smartphone-connected medical kit that contains a non-contact thermometer and a digital stethoscope, which allows parents to accurately measure their children's heartbeat and body temperature at home.
