ChemoCentryx, Inc. (CCXI) Announces Financial Results for the Quarter Ended June 30, 2012

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ChemoCentryx, Inc. (Nasdaq:CCXI) announced today its financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2012. Net loss for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012 was $10.9 million compared to $7.9 million during the same quarter in 2011. Net loss for the six months ended June 30, 2012 was $20.0 million compared to $14.2 million for the same period ended June 30, 2011. Cash, cash equivalents and investments totaled $137.1 million at June 30, 2012, compared to $96.1 million at December 31, 2011.
