OTTAWA, CANADA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 2, 2009 -- Chemaphor Inc. (CDNX:CFR.V - News), a biotechnology research and development company today announced the launch of its Specialty Chemicals business. Chemaphor has core expertise in organic chemistry and as a secondary activity, specializes in the synthesis of research chemicals labeled with stable isotopes. The use of carefully selected and tested synthetic techniques yields deuterated compounds of high purity (99%) and high levels of enrichment (99%). Deuterated products in stock include vitamin D and its hydroxy metabolites, cholesterol and its hydroxy metabolite, and vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol).
