PENNSAUKEN, N.J., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- James A. Keller has been named Chief Financial Officer, and Mark R. Robillard has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing, for Cerionx, Inc., an advanced technology company dedicated to the development of state-of-the-art products for laboratory research applications in BioPharma and life sciences.

Keller brings a wealth of executive experience in the life science technology and IT markets. Prior to joining Cerionx, he held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer at Panacya, Inc. While with Panacya, Keller was a key member of the team who transformed the company from a start-up into a leading next generation systems management software and services company. Formerly, Keller was vice president and chief financial officer for EMAX Solution Partners, a company that rose from start-up to become the leading enterprise materials and supply chain management software platform for global drug discovery research operations.

He also previously served as vice president and chief financial officer for International Consulting Solutions, Inc. There, he helped transform the 15-person information technology consulting firm into a 500-person SAP implementation consulting business with offices in five countries. Keller also has held corporate controller positions with Management Recruiters International, Inc. and Harris Wholesale Company.

Robillard is a sales and business development executive with a proven record of success in selling enterprise software and services, laboratory products, electronic commerce, and supply chain management solutions to life science and global research organizations. Most recently, he consulted with Instrumentation Technical Services and Prime Technologies, and served as senior vice president and general manager for the software products business of Pharsight Corporation. While at Pharsight, Robillard steered the company to significant sales growth and profitability in the complex clinical trial and regulatory submissions software and drug development consulting services market.

Previously, his successful 20-year career with VWR Scientific Products, a $3 billion global distributor of laboratory equipment, reagents and supplies for the industrial, government and educational research marketplace, led him from his first position as a sales representative to several senior executive roles, including vice president of Sales and of Electronic Commerce. Robillard later held senior sales and marketing positions at EMAX Solution Partners and at SciQuest, Inc., which acquired EMAX.
