Cause Of Digestive Disorder Found
Scientists believe they may have found the cause of the gut disorder coeliac disease. They have pinpointed a protein in wheat gluten which damages the small intestine of people with the condition.
The research, published in the journal Gut, could lead to the development of a modified form of wheat which does not have the damaging protein.
