Cardiome Pharma Corp. Expects FDA Decision on Heart Drug
Canadian drug maker Cardiome Pharma is expected to learn as early as Friday whether its drug to treat irregular heart rhythms can be marketed in the U.S. The Food and Drug Administration's decision on Cardiome's drug is likely before the weekend because the company filed the application 10 months ago as of Jan. 19. Generally, the FDA makes drug approval decisions within 10 months.
