Cardinal Health Fends Off $200 Million Antitrust Suit from Suture Express

Strike one against the little guy.

A federal judge in Kansas has thrown out the remainder of a Kansas company’s $200 million antitrust claim against wound care companies Cardinal Health and Owens & Minor. Suture Express had accused Cardinal and O&M of conducting a predatory pricing scheme to prevent customers from buying the Suture Express’s competing products.

U.S. District Judge Daniel Crabtree in Topeka, KS, granted the defendants’ motions for summary judgment.
