NEEDHAM, MA--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 3, 2008 -- Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) of Needham, MA today announced the acquisition of Barnett International from PAREXEL International. Barnett is recognized as a leader in clinical education and training resources. This acquisition expands CHI's product portfolio to include Barnett's expansive list of seminars, webinars, training consulting and publications. In addition, CHI and Barnett will serve as publisher and distributor for PAREXEL's list of publications in the clinical and regulatory segment, including PAREXEL's Bio/Pharmaceutical R&D Statistical Sourcebook.

Seven staff members will transfer to CHI and Needham, MA will become the headquarters of Barnett operations. They will join the over 100 CHI employees.
