Cambrex Corporation Release: Ms. Samantha M. Hanley Promoted To Vice President, General Counsel And Secretary

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Feb. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambrex Corporation (NYSE: CBM, "Cambrex") announced today that Samantha M. Hanley has been promoted to the position of Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, reporting to Cambrex President & CEO, Steven M. Klosk.  She succeeds William M. Haskel, who has decided to seek other opportunities outside of Cambrex.  Mr. Haskel will remain with Cambrex through the end of February to ensure a smooth transition.

As General Counsel, Ms. Hanley will lead Cambrex's legal function, overseeing commercial transactions, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, environmental, litigation, employment, corporate governance, SEC compliance, mergers and acquisitions and other legal matters.

Ms. Hanley formerly held the position of Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Cambrex.  Previously, Ms. Hanley worked at Alpharma Pharmaceuticals as Director of Intellectual Property and was an Associate with Lerner, David, Littenberg, Krumholtz & Mentlik, LLP, an intellectual property law firm.

Ms. Hanley obtained her BA in Chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and received her JD from Brooklyn Law School in Brooklyn, New York.
