Calgary Scientific has hired seasoned Sales Director, Raul Conde, to lead the market expansion into Asia. Previously with CPI Canada Inc. (Communications and Power Industries), Conde has more than 16 years of experience establishing new business relationships in Asia working with major Asian OEM partners, specifically in medical imaging. Conde and the Calgary Scientific sales organization have established an office in Shanghai, China - a base for Conde and the company's expansion into the Asia Pacific.
The expansion into Asia builds upon Calgary Scientific's long-standing partnerships with various international OEM healthcare leaders who the organization serves with technology innovation, advanced regulatory accreditation, engineering services, sales and marketing partnerships. As the Asian market leapfrogs many countries with their technology and healthcare initiatives, particularly in the wireless and mobile domain, Calgary Scientific will continue to grow the Asia Pacific team with additional localized sales, product, and technical support. Calgary Scientific is also in the process of adding various Asian regulatory clearances to their long list of accolades for their ResolutionMD and PureWeb® applications.
