Brooks Automation's Life Sciences Group Systems Introduced at the Inaugural SLAS 2012 Conference

CHELMSFORD, Mass., February 6, 2012 - Brooks Automation, Inc. (Nasdaq:BRKS), a leading worldwide provider of automation, vacuum, and instrumentation solutions for multiple markets, today announced the presence of its Brooks Life Science Systems division at the inaugural Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) Conference in San Diego, CA.

Celigo is a high throughput, microplate-based, imaging cell cytometer and analysis system. The Brooks Plate Auditor will help Compound Sample Managers analyze the quality of their compounds following storage and prior to the sample’s entry into the high throughput screening phase of the drug discovery process. Brooks will be hosting a tutorial: “Automated Biorepository Sample Workflow”, at the SLAS Conference on Tuesday, February 7th, 8:00 a.m. – 8:50 a.m., Room 8 on the upper level of the San Diego Convention Center.
