Boudazin Named President and CEO of Boiron

Philadelphia Business Journal by John George, Senior Reporter

Janick Boudazin was named president and CEO of Boiron USA on Tuesday.

Boiron USA of Newtown Square is the U.S. subsidiary of Laboratoires Boiron, a French manufacturer of homeopathic medicines.

Boudazin, 44, joined Laboratoires Boiron in 1995 as an intern while completing his doctorate of pharmacy degree at Nantes University in France. In 1999, he transferred to the United States and worked as the branch manager at Boiron USA before becoming the director of medical development.

He succeeds Ludovic Rassat, who was president and CEO of Boiron USA for six years before recently leaving to pursue other opportunities.

The company said Boudazin will focus on developing Boiron’s key U.S. brands, such as Oscillococcinum for flu-like symptoms and its Arnicare line of natural pain relievers.
