Boston Scientific Corporation CEO: Google Inc. Is Not A Threat To Our Business

Healthcare futurists have declared that Silicon Valley has set its sights on the medical devices industry. Experts routinely talk of new entrants and point to Google, Apple, Samsung and their interest to disrupt the inefficient healthcare market. A senior Medtronic employee turned some heads last year when he proclaimed that Google is going to be its competitor in the future, not Boston Scientific or St. Jude Medical. However, one person who is not losing too much sleep over this phenomenon is Boston Scientific CEO Michael Mahoney.
