BioTime Raises $6.4 Million In Equity Financing

ALAMEDA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BioTime, Inc. (NYSE MKT: BTX), a biotechnology company that develops and markets products in the field of regenerative medicine, today announced that on May 1, 2014, the Company received approximately $6.4 million in equity financing. The funds were raised from current long-term investors in the Company and will be used for funding product development, including this year's anticipated pivotal Renevia™ clinical trial, as well as other general operating expenses.
