BioTech Medics, Inc. CEO Agrees With Texas AG: Expresses Outrage Over Obamacare Bill Passage

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - December 28, 2009) -

BioTech Medics, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BMCS) CEO Keith Houser has sent a letter to Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott encouraging him to fight the "outrageous" Obamacare plan and the Senate's decision to give Nebraska and other states multimillion-dollar tax breaks as part of a deal to get votes for the health care plan.

According to Abbott's office list, the attorneys general in Alabama, Colorado, Michigan, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Utah, Washington, along with the attorney general-elect in Virginia, are involved in discussions to take place this week.

Abbott said the Senate provision passed Christmas Eve, which helped win Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson's vote on the massive health care bill, was unfair and possibly unconstitutional.

"From a fundamental fairness perspective this is both wrong and outrageous," Abbott said. "Usually when that is the case you can either find law that will support your position or a court who will agree with you. If it is upheld, then there really are no limitations in actions that Congress can take where literally they're taking taxpayer dollars from one state and giving it to another," Abbott said.

BioTech Medics owns or is affiliated with BioTech Laser Pain Management Centers that offer drug free, surgery free, safe and effective high powered deep penetrating therapeutic medical laser treatment for muscular, skeletal, nerve and arthritic pain. BioTech pain centers have a 90% patient success rate over time in reducing or eliminating pain.

"Greater use of high powered deep penetrating therapeutic medical lasers for pain can reduce use of drugs for pain by 25% based upon our own experience in operating a pain management center and clinical trials saving millions in healthcare costs," said Mr. Houser. "Surgeries for carpal tunnel and back pain can be reduced by over 30% with use of therapeutic medical lasers for pain saving billions in surgery and post-op therapy costs. I wrote Obama at the White House and did not receive a response."

"I encourage those equally outraged over the current House and Senate Obamacare bills to call their Senators, Representatives and Attorney General and complain about the proposed government run healthcare," urged Mr. Houser. "Allocating trillions of borrowed dollars for allegedly '30 million uninsured' is absurd! Charging (taxing) us years in advance of services performed is clearly unconstitutional."
