BioProcess Technology Consultants, Inc. Expands Training Services

Offers New QbD and QMS Class in Woburn, MA, October 19-20

WOBURN, MASSACHUSETTS, September 10, 2015—BioProcess Technology Consultants, Inc. (BPTC), the leading strategic, technical, and regulatory consulting company for the global biopharmaceutical industry, announces the expansion of its training program offerings.

BPTC's training programs are designed to provide biotech professionals with the in-depth background and knowledge necessary to plan and execute comprehensive product development and manufacturing strategies. Programs emphasize the integration of CMC activities with regulatory requirements to assure quality and regulatory compliance throughout the product life cycle.

“Recognizing the popularity of our existing programs, BPTC is pleased to offer development, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory professionals more frequent and diverse training courses,” said Howard L. Levine, Ph.D., President and CEO of BPTC. “The depth and breadth of our consultants’ expertise allow them to impart a global and cross-functional perspective while delivering practical, up-to-date information on the activities required for the development, manufacture, and quality of today’s complex biopharmaceuticals—from early development through commercialization.”

BPTC routinely conducts training classes and seminars on biologics product development, Quality by Design (QbD), Quality Management Systems (QMS), and global GxP requirements at industry-wide conferences and onsite at biopharmaceutical companies. As part of the training program expansion, BPTC will now offer training classes at its headquarters in the Greater Boston area. The first will be held October 19-20, 2015, and will focus on QbD and QMS for biopharmaceuticals.

The QbD and QMS training class will be taught by a two-person team of BPTC consultants and will combine lectures with group discussions and exercises to encourage full student participation. “I am delighted to be a key contributor to BPTC’s training programs,” said Taylor Burtis, Senior Consultant and one of the class lecturers. “For biopharmaceutical professionals, a strong understanding of global regulatory expectations is essential. I look forward to providing what they need to know to meet global quality, regulatory, and compliance requirements through our expanded training program.”

BPTC’s open and informal teaching style facilitates interactions with class participants and encourages questions and discussions to ensure full understanding of the topics.
