BioNJ’s Gateway Gala To Salute Patients And The Innovator Companies Inspired By Them
TRENTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BioNJ will honor 19 innovator companies with footprints in New Jersey that were responsible for more than 30 approvals granted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2014 at its 22nd Annual Dinner and Innovation Celebration on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at the East Brunswick Hilton in East Brunswick, NJ from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. New Jersey Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno will help present the awards.
The Gateway Gala will feature the presentation of the eighth Dr. Sol J. Barer Award for Vision, Innovation and Leadership to Dr. Abraham Abuchowski, CEO and Chief Science Officer of Prolong Pharmaceuticals of South Plainfield, and Founding Chairman of BioNJ. The Keynote will be delivered by 74-year old “Marathon Man” Don Wright, a cancer survivor with multiple myeloma who has run 85 marathons in the past 11 years.
