Biolytix, one of the leading CRO's for molecular biological analysis in Switzerland has acquired a complete Affymetrix GeneChip(R) instrument system to enhance the range of services offered. Besides standard gene expression analysis services, with this state-of-the-art equipment Biolytix is ready to offer services using the latest generation GeneChip(R) products. These include Exon and Tiling arrays as well as SNP genotyping and gene mapping arrays with potential applications in transcriptome mapping, the analysis of gene regulation as well as genome wide SNP mapping and re-sequencing using standard and custom arrays.
The appointment of Biolytix as an Affymetrix authorized service provider further enhances the strong reputation of the company in the molecular biology service provider community.
