BIOLASE Inc. Names Alexander K. Arrow, M.D. Chief Medical Officer

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BIOLASE, Inc. (NASDAQ:BIOL), the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of dental lasers, today announced that Alexander K. Arrow, M.D. has been named to the newly-created position of Chief Medical Officer, effective immediately. Dr. Arrow had been the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer since 2013 and was a member of the Board of Directors from 2010 to 2014. In a separate announcement to be made later this morning, the Company will announce the appointment of its permanent President and Chief Executive Officer.
