Today, Sir Paul Nurse, Director of the Francis Crick Institute, unveiled the organisation's strategy to coincide with the topping out ceremony for the institute. Commenting on the strategy, Steve Bates, BioIndustry Association (BIA) Chief Executive Officer, said:

"I am delighted to see yet another significant step along the path towards the establishment of this landmark venture for bioscience in the UK.

"The BIA is engaging with the Francis Crick Institute to ensure that the UK's innovative bioscience companies can collaborate in an open and permeable manner with the Institute.

"It is great to see that one of the strategic priorities for the Institute is to develop effective partnerships with industry and the NHS."
