Bioforum Opens for the Veterinary Market!

October 16, 2012 -- The innovative bib-business is a main – apart from the IT – driving force of the modern economy. Therefore, every year since 2000 we organize BioForum – the event that meets the needs of the emerging Central European biotech companies and creates the optimal conditions for their development

Until recently the innovative bio-business was mainly associated with biotechnology. However the dynamically growing Life Sciences market, which increasingly participates in the pharmaceutical and veterinary markets, draws the companies attention to the role of biology and biotechnology in their quest for innovative products and solutions. The Polish pharmaceutical market is estimated at 28.12 billion PLN, while the veterinary market, which accounts for about 4-5% of the pharmaceutical market - PLN 1.27 billion (source PharmaExpert). The increase in the value of those markets companies see in the development of innovation-based products of biologics / biotechnology.

That is why the main goal for the next BioForum in Budapest is to consolidate the individual Central European pharmaceutical markets – both medical and veterinary. Due to the intense competition inside this sector it is particularly important that the companies developing their „pipeline” consider the improvement of quality and manufacturing technologies especially using the local, Central European, ideas, services and general, internal market potential. Every company intends to create something new, without having to expose itself to costs. BioForum fits this condition, as it is the meeting point for the representatives of the Central European biotech & pharma sector. It makes it a perfect occasion to get to know which business partner offers the most beneficial cooperation conditions, and, most of all, in which direction to develop the business.

BioForum 2013 will be the place to make new business contacts, show the collaboration possibilities in many fields, such as clinical trials or contract manufacturing and to start the international cooperation, mostly with the Central European companies.

BioForum - Central European Forum of Biotechnology & Innovative BioEconomy and the accompanying events will take place on 22-23 May 2013 in Budapest. The originator and main organizer of this event is a polish company: Bio Tech Consulting (www.biotechconsulting.eu).
