BioElectronics Corporation Continues to Expand Central America Distribution

10/2/2012 10:34:33 AM

FREDERICK, Md., Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- BioElectronics Corporation (BIEL), maker of consumer medical electronics, announced today that they have agreed to distribution terms with Alfa Medica S.A. to distribute its ActiPatch® Musculoskeletal Pain Relief Therapy, Allay Menstrual Pain Therapy and RecoveryRx Postoperative and Wound Care Therapy brands in Costa Rica.

"Costa Rica is a very interesting country," said Ben Fichter, Marketing Manager. "It is very progressive and is considered the 'greenest' country in the world. Its population topping four million and growing will embrace a safe, drug-free, inexpensive and more effective pain relief than drug therapy. Our unique medical devices are five times better and 100% safer than OTC drugs and will change the way people heal in Costa Rica," Mr. Fichter said.

It already successfully serves several U.S. healthcare companies and has an outreach that includes not only doctors and physical therapy clinics but also veterinarians and gynecologists.
