The video featuring BioConvergence is the latest in a series produced by the Indiana
Economic Development Corporation aimed at attracting new investment to the Hoosier
state. Created by Governor Mitch Daniels in 2005, the state’s economic development
agency has scored three years of record-breaking commitments for new jobs.
BioConvergence is profiled as a growing life sciences business founded by a group of
Hoosier entrepreneurs with experience in getting pharmaceuticals to the marketplace.
“BioConvergence is extremely pleased to grow and invest in our life sciences business
in the State of Indiana, particularly in Monroe County. The State of Indiana, Governor
Mitch Daniels and many other elected officials have done an excellent job of creating a
business environment that has allowed us to accelerate the formation of our company
and grow to 40 people in just over two years. We have benefitted from the talented
workforce and low cost of doing business and have seen the State develop new
programs to help new life sciences firms like the Indiana 21st Century Fund and Hoosier
Business Investment Tax Credit. We are thankful we have such forward thinking
leadership in our state,” said Alisa Wright, CEO.
