Bio-Solutions Corp. to Move Corporate Headquarters From Montreal, Canada to San Antonio, Texas

SAN ANTONIO, TX--(Marketwire - June 19, 2012) - As Bio-Solutions Corp. (PINKSHEETS: BISU) launches Type2 Defense™, a state-of-the-art functional beverage for the management of Type 2 diabetes™,* President and CEO Bill Gallagher announces that the company will be operating out of San Antonio, Texas -- a move that places Bio-Solutions at the geographic hub of cutting-edge research in the fight against diabetes.

Bio-Solutions Corporation has seen many changes lately under Bill Gallagher, who has assumed responsibility in the wake of the resignation of former chief executive Gilles Chaumillion. Under Gallagher's new leadership Bio-Solutions announces today that the company will move its corporate headquarters San Antonio, Texas. The relocation from Montreal to San Antonio comes on the heels of Gallagher's appointment of Dr. Chandrasekhara Mallangi as head of research and development for a new functional beverage for glucose maintenance in diabetics. When asked about the move, Gallagher replied:

"Texas has always been the logical choice... We at Bio-Solutions feel that Type2 Defense™ can both improve the every-day health of those living with Type 2 diabetes and help to put a dent in the overall epidemic by serving the pre-diabetic population. When local interest crystallized into funding and support out of San Antonio, the decision to move became more than a business decision. It became a step forward in our mission to fight diabetes."

Texas and Diabetes -- the Epicenter of an Epidemic

As of 2010 25.8 million Americans -- 8.3% of the total United States population -- had been or could expect to be diagnosed with diabetes. The percentage of Texans affected by the disease is disproportionately high, with 9.3% of the state's population currently diagnosed. These numbers make diabetes the 7th most deadly disease in the nation -- and the 6th leading cause of death in Texas.(i) San Antonio is home to the Texas Diabetes Institute (TDI) -- the nation's largest, most comprehensive center for the research and treatment of diabetes.

Bio-Solutions' decision to move to San Antonio is based on support that goes beyond the proximity to research and development resources and consumer demand. The company -- which will be offering their innovative Type2 Defense™ through an internet-based subscription service -- has recently chosen San Antonio's Boss™ Creative Web Design to head up marketing technology. According to NSIDE Business, Boss Creative is "rapidly becoming one of the most innovative design companies in town." The trade magazine notes that "Boss Creative's youthful exuberance and knowledge of the industry shine through every project, reflecting a commitment to good design and the success of their clients."(ii) Boss Creative's approach to business and record of excellence match Bio-Solutions' progress as a successful business venture with a positive mission statement.

Bill Gallagher -- Getting Down to Business in the Fight against Diabetes

Bill Gallagher, President and CEO of Bio-Solutions Corporation, brings his professional history of successful enterprise to the table as Type2 Defense moves from production to distribution. This particular campaign joins Gallagher's lifelong mission to use good business to fuel change with his particular stake in the fight against diabetes -- a disease that has touched his family, providing the personal motivation that drives his venture toward success.

University of Texas alumnus Bill Gallagher is the founder and President of JagCapital, Inc., a merchant bank headquartered in San Antonio, Texas since September 1992. Mr. Gallagher's leadership at Bio-Solutions is informed by over 40 years of retail food experience. This experience rests on the strong foundation of Gallagher's long and colorful history of achievement in retail production, investment, and large-scale development projects. Mr. Gallagher's early success came in 1968 with his founding of Sunny's Stores and continued in 1989 with the opening of an international BBQ restaurant chain and the vending of its condiments -- and the eventual acquisition of Chris&Pitts BBQ Sauce, the top-selling BBQ sauce on the West Coast.

Gallagher's desire to use his personal success to better the world around him began in 1973, when he acquired Historic Gruene Texas and devoted himself to restoring and developing Gruene, Texas -- most of which had been uninhabited since 1925. Gallagher spearheaded this project for over a decade, invigorating the land and founding the Guadalupe Valley Winery Corporation -- a successful business that has helped to bring prosperity to the region.

Bio-Solutions' move to San Antonio lays the final stone to pave the way for the release of Type2 Defense, which hits the market in just a few weeks. The resources and support available in San Antonio and Bill Gallagher's personal and professional contributions have Bio-Solutions primed for success -- in business and, ultimately, in the fight against diabetes.
