Berna Biotech Ltd 37% Growth In Its Core Business 2004

Bern, January 24, 2004. Berna Biotech announces in the Analyst Conference the sales numbers 2004 and informs on the R&D progress. The core business gross sales increased by 37 %. The reduction of the non-core business sales of 94 % is due to the extraordinary smallpox sales of 2003. For 2005 Berna Biotech is expecting again an above market growth in the core products. Furthermore, Berna Biotech will further focus the R&D activities and strengthen them through specific partnerships.
