BASF Increases Prices for Ethylamines in Europe

December 16, 2011 -- With immediate effect, BASF is increasing its European sales prices for ethylamines as follows:

Monoethylamine (MEA 70%) + €30 per metric ton

Diethylamine (DEA) + €60 per metric ton

Triethylamine (TEA) + €70 per metric ton

The price increase will also apply to current supply agreements as soon as and to the extent permitted by their terms and conditions. Ethylamines are starting materials for the production of various intermediates that are used, for example, in the agrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.
