B.Braun Medical to Launch New Level of Water Treatment Technology at ASN
BETHLEHEM, Pa., Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- B. Braun Medical Inc. (B.Braun) announced today that it will launch the Aquaboss® in-center water treatment system at the American Society of Nephrology Kidney Week 2013 in Atlanta, GA, November 7th-9th. Attendees will be able to visit B.Braun's booth (#131) at the ASN Exposition Hall to see the Aquaboss system and learn how it is the latest advancement in water purification technology.
The Aquaboss water treatment system produces high quality water for dialysis while providing a lower total cost of ownership. Through its innovative features, Aquaboss has up to an 85% raw water conversion rate that conserves water usage, reduces power costs and pre-treatment and maintenance of equipment. Full stainless steel construction and heavy duty pumps, valves and motors make Aquaboss a robust system for continuous use with low maintenance requirements. A highlight is the heat-on-demand disinfection of the distribution ring and reverse osmosis system.
