B. Braun Medical Ltd. Signs U.S. Distribution Agreement With RyMed Technologies For Its InVision-Plus® Neutral IV Connector

BETHLEHEM, Pa. and AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- B. Braun Medical Inc. (B.Braun) and RyMed Technologies, LLC announced today that they have entered into a long-term distribution agreement for the InVision-Plus^® Neutral IV Connector.

"The InVision-Plus Neutral IV Connector with Neutral Advantage Technology is designed to inhibit migration of bacteria into the fluid pathway, potentially improving patient outcomes, and enhancing clinician safety," said Tom Sutton, Vice President of Vascular Access Systems at B.Braun. "This agreement will complement B.Braun's current needleless connector portfolio offering to include a neutral displacement line of products," added Sutton.

The InVision-Plus Neutral IV Connector provides a priming volume of 0.027 mL. RyMed's InVision-Plus platform of products provide a 10-point standard of features.
