Australian Scientists Report Weight Loss Breakthrough; Blood Pressure Drug Aid In Weight Loss

Australian -- COMMONLY used blood pressure drugs could one day be tweaked to help people lose weight and avoid diabetes. The news comes from Australian scientists who discovered that mice altered to mimic the drugs' effect weighed 20 percent less than normal mice and had 50-60 per cent less body fat, especially abdominal fat which is most likely to cause heart attack and stroke.
