Asterias Biotherapeutics To Present At Stem Cell Summit 2016

(NYSE MKT: AST), a biotechnology company with three clinical-stage development programs focused on the emerging field of regenerative medicine, today announced that Katharine Spink, Ph.D., Chief Operating Officer, will present at the Stem Cell Summit 2016 to be held on April 25-27, 2016 in Boston, MA. Dr. Spink will provide an overview of the Asterias AST-OPC1 (oligodendrocyte progenitor cells) therapeutic development program that is currently in a Phase 1/2a dose escalation clinical trial in spinal cord injury.
