Around the World in 80 Ways - Catalent Pharma Solutions Expert to Present on Clinical Distribution Supply Chain at 2012 ISPE Japan Conference

SOMERSET, NJ, April 10, 2012 -- Esther Sadler-Williams, Senior Director Strategic Alliance Development, Clinical Supply Services at Catalent Pharma Solutions will lead two discussions, “Around the World in 80 Ways: How to Ensure a Lean and Efficient Clinical Distribution Supply Chain,” and “IP COP Booklet Label Task Team–Booklet Label Strategy,” at the 10th Annual ISPE Japan Affiliate Meeting, to be held in Hiroshima, Japan on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 1:10 p.m. and 3:40 p.m., respectively.

Mrs. Sadler-Williams’ first presentation will focus on the utilization of lean practices to create distribution efficiencies for global supply chains. The main areas of discussion will be on distribution strategy, distribution network and guidelines for achieving a lean distribution process.

Her second presentation will focus on booklet labeling strategies and the key objectives of an ISPE global task force, which includes the creation of a guidance document which will harmonize the approach to the production of booklet labels across the industry that meets the needs of sites, regulators and patients.

As a pharmacist, Mrs. Sadler-Williams has had nearly 30 years experience in various pharmaceutical fields most latterly in Clinical Supply environments but her experience also includes 5 years with Sanofi Winthrop where she was Head of Research Services during which time she managed groups of CRA.’s medical writers and information/adverse event surveillance specialists. Previous roles include Principal Pharmacist with the Regional Drug Information Service at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester, and Pharmacy Manager with Boots the Chemist.
