AngioDynamics Mulls Queensbury Expansion

Latham-based medical device maker AngioDynamics is considering moving its laser operations in the United Kingdom to Queensbury. The company said Thursday during a conference call with analysts that moving the laser unit to Queensbury, where it does a significant amount of its device manufacturing, may end up costing $1.6 million, although no breakdown of what those costs would include was given. "A final decision on this transfer has not been made," D. Joseph Gersuk, the company's chief financial officer, said during the call, which followed release of its quarterly and fiscal year-end financial results.
