Analogic Corporation Anticipates Fines In BK Medical's Danish Bribery Beef
Analogic (NSDQ:ALOG) said it will likely face fines from the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, the Justice Dept. or both, resulting from a probe into an alleged scheme to bribe Danish distributors.
Penalties would come more than 2 years after the Peabody, Mass.-based imaging device maker 1st disclosed it was investigating its BK Medical subsidiary in the matter.
"We believe that the SEC and DoJ have substantially completed their investigation into the transactions at issue and that it is reasonably likely that 1 or both of these entities may seek to impose sanctions and/or penalties on us in connection with a resolution of their inquiries," Analogic said in a recent regulatory filing.
