Ampio Pharmaceuticals' Vyrix Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering

(NYSE MKT: AMPE) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Vyrix Pharmaceuticals has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. All of the shares to be sold in the proposed offering will be offered by Vyrix. Vyrix has applied for a listing of its common stock on the NYSE MKT under the symbol "VYRX".
