The Society of Forensic Toxicologists (SOFT) is a professional organization that helps further the promotion and development of forensic toxicology, the use of toxicology  the study of adverse effects of drugs and chemicals on biological systems  in legal investigations involving poisoning and drug use. The SOFT annual meeting provides opportunities for those in the field to discuss research and trends.
