AlterG Supports National Physical Therapy Month

AlterG holds PT of the Month contest to recognize top performers

Fremont, CA, October 7, 2015 -- AlterG®, leading sports and medical technology company and creators of the Anti-Gravity Treadmill and Bionic Leg, are recognizing top physical therapy talent during National Physical Therapy Month. A month-long online contest, open until October 23rd, 2015 encourages clinics and patients to submit personal experiences and stories from positive physical therapy journeys.

National Physical Therapy Month is celebrated every October and the aim is to raise awareness of physical therapy as an industry and of the important role that therapists play in proactively decreasing injury and setting up individuals for healthy and active longevity.

AlterG is honored to support and promote physical therapists across the nation and, through their National PT Month contest AlterG highlights the work that these individuals play in the industry and in changing people’s lives.

The winner of the 2014 AlterG PT of the Month contest, Trent Ezzell, says that working with the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill has “given patients a new lease on life and allowed our physical therapists to work and succeed with people who may have had a much longer recovery period.” Mr. Ezzell is the President and CFO at Heights Performance and graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2002 with a Masters in Physical Therapy. His work history includes pediatric and outpatient orthopedic/sports physical therapy.
