ALTANA AG Sells Drugs Unit To Nycomed For 4.5 Billion EUR
FRANKFURT, Sept 21 (Reuters) - German drugs and chemicals group Altana will sell its drugs business to Denmark's Nycomed for around 4.5 billion euros ($5.7 billion), breaking up one of Europe's last remaining drug-chemical hybrids.
