LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - February 03, 2009) - SSPI would deal with statins presently
available on the market, their successes and limitations and the
superstatins™ drugs that would dominate the world of medicine, now and
in the future.
According with research on cortisol, carried out over the four decades, Dr.
Sapse is summarizing the pharmacological action of statins and super
statins as follows:
STATINS are inhibitors of the synthesis of endogenous cholesterol and weak
cortisol modulators by minimally blocking the exogenous cholesterol, into
becoming cortisol.
SUPER STATINS are inhibitors of the synthesis of endogenous cholesterol and
powerful cortisol modulators by blocking the exogenous cholesterol into
becoming cortisol.
Endogenous Cholesterol is cholesterol that is made inside the body by the
liver.
Exogenous Cholesterol is cholesterol that is obtained outside of the body
from foods and is usually obtained through diets high in cholesterol and
saturated fats.
Cortisol is a hormone manufactured by the adrenal gland that is helping an
individual cope with everyday stress, but becoming a deadly immune
suppressor when manufactured in large amounts under the effect of chronic
stress, as is the case with most diseases known to mankind today.
Cortisol Modulators are drugs that are controlling the wide variations of
cortisol as found in diseases of all types, and taking them to a normal
level thus bringing about clinical improvements ranging from modest to very
impressive.
The wide arrays of diseases that can be potentially helped by the super
statins are:
-- Neurodegenerative diseases: MS, Parkinson, ALS
-- Diseases of aging: Alzheimer's, macular degeneration (AMD) dry and
wet.
-- Diseases induced sometimes by excessive use of cortisone / cortisol
drugs: Osteoporosis, Ulcers, Obesity Cataracts, Exema, Psoriazis, symptoms
of Dementia, Hypertension
-- Autoimmune: MS, Lupus Erythematosus (LE), Hashimoto's, Retinitis
Pigmentosa (RP) the only one auto-immune disease, where cortisol is
manufactured in the eye (ectopic cortisol) and not by the adrenal gland.
-- Cancers of all types.
-- Sepsis, associated with very high levels of cortisol.
-- Used before major surgery, which combined with the patient anxiety and
general anesthesia are forming a very stressful combination that would
jeopardize the outcome of the surgery.
-- Super Statins can prevent an HIV positive, where cortisol is normal
into sliding into full blown AIDS associated with high cortisol.
-- Super statins can prevent the inactivation or destruction of stem
cells, when implanted in an individual with a high cortisol disease.
-- Super statins can reduce side effects affecting muscles.
-- Super statins used in preventative medicine: The introduction of the
super statins would open a practical approach to the preventative medicine
where they would be used not in treating diseases, but in preventing them.
-- Detailed explanations on each condition above will follow in
subsequent news releases.
SSPI's technology can take a statin, any statin, and make it into a super
statin, which when used in double blind studies won't need the connotation
"in association with..." because it would be that just the drug and the
placebo ONLY.
Moreover, we believe that some of these double blind studies using super
statins vs. placebo will be stopped and un-blinded because the results
obtained would easily identify which one is the drug and which one is the
placebo.
The strategy of the SSPI is to find a suitable partner that would allow us
to commence one clinical study abroad preferably in the UK or Switzerland,
obtain an approval for one claim only and perhaps later on in off labeling
it.
