Alcon, Inc. (ACL) Launches a New Mobile Website to Educate Parents About Commonly Prescribed Eye and Ear Treatments

FORT WORTH, Texas, March 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Alcon launches DROPS101 Web Tools today, a one-stop resource to help parents balance their on-the-go lifestyle with the responsibility of caring for a sick child. Parents can use DROPS101 for instant prescription savings information and Alcon product information while onlineor while in line at the pharmacy via their mobile devices.

With a user-friendly platform, DROPS101 Web Tools provide parents with digital access to information on how to manage the effective treatment of two extremely common child ailmentsswimmers ear (acute otitis externa) and middle ear infection with tubes (acute otitis media in pediatric patients with tympanostomy tubes), and bacterial eye infections (commonly called "pink eye").
